At CD Taont, editorial integrity is not just a back-end process — it’s a central part of our identity. Every article we publish, every idea we explore, and every author we feature is selected and shaped with great care. We take seriously the responsibility that comes with publishing in a digital world where information spreads quickly and misinformation spreads even faster.
Our editorial process is not just about quality control. It’s about preserving meaning, protecting credibility, and honoring the reader’s time.
Our Approach
Every piece we publish begins with a question:
Does this offer something real, something meaningful, or something useful to the people reading it?
If the answer is no, it doesn’t go live.
Our team — led by Alyssa M. Delaney, with research review from Sahana Riaz and author development support from Marc Levesque — works collaboratively through each stage of the editorial process. That includes brainstorming, draft development, research validation, copy editing, and final review.
We don’t believe in churning out content for SEO alone. Our goal is longevity over virality. We’re building a library of trusted ideas, not a newsfeed of noise.
Originality and Authorship
We publish a mix of in-house content and external contributions. Everything must be original — we do not republish AI-generated articles or aggregate scraped content.
Contributors are required to submit original work and disclose any use of quotes, references, or inspiration from external sources. We fact-check those references and ensure appropriate attribution is in place.
We encourage contributors to speak from their own expertise or experience. Every author works closely with Marc to preserve their voice while aligning with our editorial tone: honest, intelligent, and clear.
Accuracy, Corrections, and Transparency
We are committed to publishing accurate, well-researched content. But when mistakes happen, we own them.
If you notice a factual error, misquote, or incorrect attribution, please email editor@cdtaont.com and we will address it within 48 hours. Significant corrections are logged on the page with a note to readers. We do not silently edit articles to hide errors.
In rare cases where a post no longer meets our editorial standards, we may remove it with a public explanation.
Content Rights and Removal Requests
If you are an author, creator, or organization whose content or name is mentioned on CD Taont and you believe it has been misrepresented or misused, you have the right to request edits or removal.
We review each request on a case-by-case basis, prioritizing ethical handling of all source material and contributor relationships.
Our Standards
Our editorial policy is guided by three core standards:
- Clarity: Say what you mean. Avoid jargon. Respect your reader’s intelligence.
- Accuracy: Check everything. Cite what’s not yours. Don’t cut corners.
- Accountability: If something goes wrong, fix it and tell people it’s been fixed.
This is what guides us behind the scenes. And you’ll see it reflected in every article we publish.
